Yohandy Morales Homers In Second Straight Rehab Game
4 months agoWashington Nationals first base/third base prospect Yohandy Morales (thumb) hit a home run in his second straight rehab game for Single-A Fredericksburg on Thursday. The 22-year-old is hitting .238 with two homers and 17 RBI for Double-A Harrisburg this season in 37 games. The Nationals' second-round pick in 2023, Morales boasts 60-grade power. He has shown off that power in his return from his thumb injury. The University of Miami product has had his season shortened with his injury but he has an opportunity now to finish the season strong over the final two months.
