Free-agent wide receiver Jarvis Landry is still looking for a new team, but might've found one with the New York Jets. The 31-year-old reportedly had a workout with the Jets this week. The nine-year veteran had a solid career during his time with the Miami Dolphins. Since he left Miami, Landry has started to go downhill. Injuries have kept Landry off the field and he hasn't played since the 2022 season with the New Orleans Saints. It's uncertain what exactly Landry has left in the tank to offer an NFL team. It's worth noting that the Jets signed UFL wideout Isaiah Winstead, which might mean bad news for Landry. However, there could be an injury in camp or an opening elsewhere for Landry before the 2024 season begins.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Free-agent wide receiver Jarvis Landry spent an hour running around catching passes as a tryout player at the Jacksonville Jaguars' rookie minicamp on Friday. Landry was one of the league's top receivers in the first seven years of his career, making five Pro Bowls with the Dolphins and Browns. He led the NFL in catches in 2017 with 112 and had three 1,000-yard seasons in that span. But Landry only played in 12 games in 2021 with Cleveland due to a knee sprain, and he had a career-low in catches (52) and receiving yards (570). He played in just nine games with the Saints in 2022 due to an ankle injury and sat out in 2023. Landry looked healthy on Friday and was pleased with his workout, but it remains to be seen if the Jags will add him as receiver depth in addition to Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis and first-round rookie Brian Thomas.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry is expected to take part in the Jacksonville Jaguars' upcoming rookie camp, according to his agents. Landry sat out of the 2023 season and is fully healthy and ready to return at age 31 in 2024. The Jaguars added rookie Brian Thomas in the first round of this year's NFL draft and also signed Gabe Davis in free agency to help them account for the loss of Calvin Ridley. Jacksonville also has Christian Kirk returning from injury and Zay Jones, so even if Landry were to sign with the team, he'd be fighting an uphill battle for significant playing time in 2024. In nine games with the New Orleans Saints in 2022, Landry caught 25 of his 39 targets for 272 yards and one touchdown. If anything, he'd serve as receiver depth in the slot for Jacksonville.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Free-agent wide receiver Jarvis Landry worked out for the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday. The five-time Pro Bowler has not played with anyone in 2023 after two straight down seasons in 2021 and 2022 with the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints, respectively, that were marred by injuries. The 31-year-old slot receiver caught just 25 passes for 272 yards and one touchdown on 39 targets in nine games for the Saints last year, but he does have nine years of experience in the NFL, including three 1,000-yard seasons. The Colts are looking for some receiver insurance heading into Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday after top wideout Michael Pittman Jr. suffered a concussion in last Saturday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jarvis Landry (ankle) is being placed on Injured Reserve on Thursday. The Saints ruled Landry out for Week 16 against his former team, the Cleveland Browns, on Saturday, but now he'll miss the final three regular season games. If the Saints somehow win the NFC South, Landry would also be forced to miss the first game of the postseason. Rookie first-rounder Chris Olave (hamstring), the Saints' leading receiver, also won't play on Christmas Eve this weekend, forcing rookie Rashid Shaheed, Tre'Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway into bigger roles in the passing game on the road in Cleveland in what is expected to be poor weather. Landry also missed five games earlier this year and will finish the regular season with career-lows across the board in catches (25), targets (39), receiving yards (272) and TDs (one) in nine games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
