J.D. Davis Placed On Outright Waivers
4 months agoNew York Yankees third baseman J.D. Davis has been placed on outright waivers by the organization on Wednesday. This news comes after Davis was designated for assignment earlier in the week to make a room for Jazz Chisholm Jr. on the roster. The 31-year-old is slashing an ugly .105/.227/.158 with one RBI in 22 plate appearances with the Yankees. Davis has some upside at the plate as he blasted 18 home runs with the San Francisco Giants last season. If unclaimed, Davis will head to free agency where he'll be eligible to sign anywhere.
