Tommy Fleetwood A Potential Olympics Landmine
4 months agoTommy Fleetwood will likely be a popular option this week, but fantasy managers may want to consider taking a closer look at his potential range of outcomes. The 33-year-old Brit is a model of consistency and has a high floor, but his upside heading to Paris should be a concern. Fleetwood has failed to crack the top-10 since his T3 showing at the Masters back in April, a stretch of golf including nine events with a missed cut in his last outing two weeks ago at The Open Championship. He did perform well as a part of the European Ryder Cup team's victory at this course in 2018, but he hasn't played here since that time. Fleetwood also finished in 16th place in his only other Olympic appearance in 2021, but that is not the type of upside that will pay off in a 60-man field and with the ninth-highest salary on DraftKings. Fantasy managers should strongly consider pivoting to higher-upside options around his $9,500 price tag.
