Min Woo Lee A Player To Fade At Paris Olympics
4 months agoMin Woo Lee is an electric golfer and always attracts the attention of fantasy managers on any given week, but he is likely to be on the outside looking in at Le Golf National this week. Aside from two PGA birdie-fests in the 2024 calendar year in the Cognizant Classic and the Rocket Mortgage Classic, the 26-year-old Aussie has failed to crack the top-25 in his 13 other starts in the 2024 calendar year. The 18th-most expensive golfer on DraftKings also ranks outside of the top-20 in several key statistical categories over the last 24 rounds this week, including good drive percentage, driving accuracy, weighted approach play, and bogey avoidance. Look no further for validation of his poor course fit than his only start here in the 2023 Open de France, where the OWGR No. 36 lost close to three and a half strokes ball-striking en route to a T64 finish in a watered-down DP World Tour event. Fantasy managers would be better off spending their money on Lee's older sister, Minjee, at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
