4 months agoDetroit Tiger catching prospect Dillon Dingler is being promoted to the majors and taking the place of the recently traded Carson Kelly. Dingler is Detroit's No. 11 prospect according to MLB Pipeline and will likely see a good chunk of at-bats down the stretch as the Tigers' only other catcher on the roster is Jake Rogers. Detroit likely wants to see what they have in Dingler, who boasts a robust .308/.379/.559 slash line with 17 homers and five steals in 263 at-bats in Triple-A this year. He is a decent catching option in two catcher leagues in fantasy for now, but in standard-size leagues he can stay on the wire.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
