Alec Bohm Back In Action For Phillies
4 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm (ankle) is starting at third base and is hitting cleanup on Sunday against the visiting Cleveland Guardians and rookie left-hander Joey Cantillo, who will be making his major-league debut. Bohm is back in action on Sunday after being pulled in the seventh inning of the 8-0 win over Cleveland with a left-ankle contusion. The injury obviously wasn't too serious, as the 27-year-old right-handed slugger is back in the lineup a day later. Bohm is currently sporting a career-high .297 average (116-for-391) with 11 home runs, a league-leading 36 doubles, a triple, 71 RBI and 45 runs scored in 102 games in his first All-Star campaign in his fifth year in the big leagues. Fantasy managers will want to get him back in all starting lineups against a young pitcher making his first start in the Show.
