9 months agoMiami Marlins first baseman Josh Bell extended his hitting streak to six games on Saturday evening as he went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, and a walk. Bell went deep in the seventh inning to give Miami a four-run lead which scored Bryan De La Cruz and Nick Fortes. This was Bell's fourth straight game, hitting a home run, and fifth straight game tallying at least two hits. The switch-hitting infielder has had a difficult season but this recent surge could suggest the former second-round pick is beginning to turn the corner.
