The 28-year-old averaged a career-high 12.0 points and 7.3 assists in 60 games with the Wizards last season. He was arguably the top free agent available, and his arrival in Phoenix gives the Suns a reliable point guard capable of coming off the bench or providing quality minutes with the starting lineup. With that said, his pairing with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Jusuf Nurkic likely means a reduction in shot opportunities.
