BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Formats
CALL-UP ETA: August/September
ANALYSIS: The Nationals' 2023 first-round pick, Dylan Crews, worked his way up to Triple-A Rochester and is now knocking on the door of the big leagues as the calendar turns over to August in a few days.
Crews spent the first few months of the season in Harrisburg at Double-A, where he hit .274 with five home runs and 15 stolen bases. Since his promotion to Triple-A, he's continued to hit well, with four more homers and another five steals in 28 games at Rochester.

If Crews wasn't such a highly-rated prospect, then Washington might wait for next season to bring him up. But because the Nationals are rebuilding and starting to trade off some assets (Jesse Winker just got dealt to the Mets and Lane Thomas is being rumored to be on the market, too), we could see Crews's debut this year and as soon as early August.
Even if Thomas isn't dealt, it's still quite likely that Crews will be promoted in September when rosters expand. He's just 10% rostered in Yahoo leagues and makes for a great stash in deeper leagues. His power is still developing, but his speed is already a factor, as we've seen him steal 20 bases this season already across 79 minor league games.
