Five Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Sleepers For 2024 Superflex Leagues

Courtland Sutton - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks - icon rotoballer

Potential fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for 2024 Superflex drafts. Mike Barner details why you should target said players in Superflex leagues.

Superflex fantasy football leagues lean heavily on the quarterback position. While it’s important to use a quarterback at your Superflex spot, it’s still important to hit on valuable wide receivers.

There is no shortage of top-tier wide receivers. From CeeDee Lamb to Tyreek Hill to Justin Jefferson, there are several stellar options to build your position around. However, one of the ways to improve your chances of bringing home a fantasy football title is to hit on some sleepers in the later rounds.

Let’s dig into some wide receiver sleeper options to target later in drafts. All ADP (average draft position) data is via Sleeper.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers – Sleeper ADP: 89, Overall: WR 41

The Chargers are going to look very different on offense this season. Gone are Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. They drafted offensive tackle Joe Alt in the first round, hoping to help sure up their protection for Justin Herbert. However, with Allen and Williams gone, they also needed to make additions at wide receiver.

The Chargers did bring in a veteran, signing DJ Chark to a one-year contract. However, the biggest splash that they made at the position was drafting Ladd McConkey in the second round. He has the potential to be the team’s top pass-catching option, with Chark, Joshua Palmer, and Quentin Johnston being his top competition for targets.

Not only do the Chargers not have a ton of talent at wide receiver, but their running back position will be led by two veterans, Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, who don’t exactly jump off the page. Allen received 150 targets last year, so that is a lot of work that will be up for grabs. It’s not a stretch to think that McConkey could at least threaten for 100 targets in his rookie campaign.

Keon Coleman, WR, Buffalo Bills – Sleeper ADP: 97, Overall: WR 45

The Bills also lost a big name at wide receiver, trading Stefon Diggs to the Texans. Even though he disappointed down the stretch, Diggs finished last season with 107 receptions, 1,183 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns on 160 targets. He received at least 154 targets in all four of his seasons with the Bills. To further complicate matters, the Bills lost Gabe Davis, who signed with the Jaguars.

Davis received 81 targets last year, so that’s a whopping 241 combined targets between him and Diggs that will be up for grabs. Tight end Dalton Kincaid should be busy, making him an appealing fantasy option at his position. Their top three wide receivers are Khalil Shakir, Coleman, and Curtis Samuel.

Shakir is a deep threat. Last season, he averaged 13.6 yards per target. Samuel is a valuable veteran, but he received at least 100 targets in a season just one time during his career. Coleman has significantly more size than Shakir and Samuel, which could make him one of the Bills’ top red zone targets. Diggs averaged 21.8 red zone targets per season with the Bills, so many of those could end up going Coleman’s way.

Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos – Sleeper ADP: 115, Overall: WR 49

The good news for McConkey and Coleman is that they have excellent quarterbacks to throw them the ball. The same can’t be said for Sutton. The Broncos selected Bo Nix in the first round of the draft, traded for Zach Wilson, and returned Jarrett Stidham to compete for the starting job.

The Broncos also struggled at quarterback last season, but Sutton still produced 10 touchdown receptions. However, don’t expect him to rack up touchdowns at that rate again. He had 14 career touchdowns going into last season.

The positive for Sutton is that he has recorded at least 90 targets in each of the last three seasons. He also averaged 13.1 yards per reception last season. That put him in the company of some big names, including CeeDee Lamb (13.0), Amon-Ra St. Brown (12.7), and Chris Olave (12.9).

Jerry Jeudy was traded to the Browns during the offseason, so Sutton’s main competition for targets will be Josh Reynolds and Marvin Mims. With 100 or more targets potentially in his future, Sutton can provide value outside the top 100 in drafts.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers – Sleeper ADP: 117, Overall: WR 50

The flashy name at wide receiver for the Packers is Christian Watson. However, injuries have limited him to 23 total games during his first two seasons in the league. He played in just nine games in 2023, while Doubs appeared in all 17 contests.

Doubs was targeted 96 times with Watson missing so much time, leaving him to finish with 59 receptions for 674 yards. That’s not exactly fantasy gold, but he did salvage things with eight touchdowns. His best performance actually came in the playoffs when he hauled in six receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys.

Jordan Love proved he could be a starting quarterback in the NFL last season and could improve further during his second season in the role. If Watson can stay healthy, then Doubs likely won’t get a boatload of targets. However, at WR50, there is a path to Doubs having a large enough role to be worth targeting.

Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants – Sleeper ADP: 193, Overall: WR 77

Not much went right for the Giants last season. Their offensive line was a mess, and Daniel Jones played in just six games because of injuries. His season eventually ended with a torn ACL. With Tyrod Taylor and Tommy Devito left to throw him passes, Robinson finished with 60 receptions for 525 yards and one touchdown.

Robinson was only targeted 78 times last year, so his 60 receptions were actually impressive. His 76.9% catch rate was the second-highest mark among wide receivers who received at least 50 targets.

There are several factors that could work in Robinson’s favor this season. First, Jones enters training camp healthy. Second, the Giants made some improvements to their offensive line by signing Jon Runyan and Jermaine Eluemunor. That should afford Jones more time to throw the ball.

Lastly, the Giants finally added a number one wide receiver when they drafted Malik Nabers. With opposing defenses likely focusing on slowing him down, there might not be as many eyes left on Robinson. While he likely won’t see many touchdown opportunities come his way based on his size, Robinson could be on a path to setting new personal bests this season in receptions and receiving yards.
