Patrick Rodgers finished tied for fifth at the Barracuda Championship last week and will now be competing at the TPC Twin Cities for this week's 3M Open. He has not missed a cut in his last four tournaments and also has two top-20 finishes during that time. Historically, Rodgers has performed well at the 3M Open, finishing T37 in 2023, T39 in 2021, and T32 in 2020. It's important to note that Rodgers ranks in the 43rd percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway over the past 12 months, and over 37% of approach shots at last year's 3M Open came from this distance. Given his recent form and track record at the 3M Open, Rodgers could be a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

Patrick Rodgers wants to throw the last two opening rounds in Florida away. The American golfer started off on the wrong foot after a 74 and then a 76 to open The Players Championship. Before that missed cut, Rodgers had four straight Top 25 results. This included a T-3 at The Genesis Invitational. Unfortunately, the problem may be the weather. The key to this tournament early may be when Rodgers tees off. That can be said for a lot of golfers but with average metrics in putting and approach (-0024 and -.0095 strokes gained respectively), Rodgers hopes to get started early. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Patrick Rodgers has played some very good golf in 2025. The American golfer comes off consecutive Top 25 results including a T-3 at The Genesis Invitational. The first three events did not go so well. Rodgers missed the cut in Hawaii, struggled at The American Express and had a rough weekend at the Farmers Insurance Open. Rodgers went back to work on his short game, keeping things simple, and has three Top 25 efforts over the past four events. Putting has been a struggle but he ranks a solid 58th in driving accuracy (62.35%) despite hitting the driver an average of 307 yards a swing. Rodgers scrambles well and gets the ball on the green nearly 70% of the time. Rodgers is +190 to end up in the Top 20 via DraftKings this weekend.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Patrick Rodgers delivered his best performance of the 2025 season at last week's Genesis Invitational, where he finished tied for third. He is now focusing on preparing for this week's Mexico Open at Vidanta Vallarta. Rodgers has a strong track record at this tournament, finishing tied for sixth in 2024, tied for 10th in 2023, and 10th in 2022. In the past 12 months, Rodgers ranks in the 46th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots taken from over 200 yards in the fairway. Notably, over 43% of approach shots at last year's Mexico Open came from this distance. Given Rodgers's previous performances at this tournament and his recent form, he could be a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

Patrick Rodgers enjoyed a solid stretch of golf in the second half of 2024. Dating back to July, the 32-year-old Stanford University alum only missed one cut in 12 appearances, racking up five top-25 finishes along the way. But he appeared rusty with a missed cut in his 2025 debut at the Sony Open last week, and he hasn't finished inside of the top-20 in his three starts that followed. While Rodgers is one of the better Poa putters in the field, he ranks outside of the top-40 in a number key statistical categories over the last 36 rounds, including good drive percentage, total driving, overall approach, and around-the-green. He also has volatile history at this event, finishing inside of the top-20 three times and missing the cut five times dating back to 2016. Rodgers profiles as a coin flip for fantasy managers this week at his $6,900 DraftKings salary.--Ryan Hickey
