German Marquez Placed On Injured List
4 months agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez (elbow) has been placed on the 15-day injured list with right-elbow inflammation, retroactive to July 19. The right-hander is working his way back from Tommy John surgery, so Marquez having a setback shouldn't be shocking. He made one start since coming off the injured list. He pitched against the New York Mets ahead of the All-Star break. Marquez will now be sidelined for at least another two weeks. In a corresponding move, right-hander Noah Davis has been recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque. Davis hasn't offered much upside to the Rockies pitching staff over the last few seasons. Fantasy managers can ignore Davis going forward.
