BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: July 22
ANALYSIS: It was only a matter of time until Atlanta Braves' No. 5 prospect, Ignacio Alvarez, got his shot in the big leagues. He was hitting .336 with seven home runs, six doubles, and 24 RBI across 28 games at Triple-A Gwinnett, and the Braves have struggled offensively in July.

But his promotion came earlier than expected after Ozzie Albies fractured his wrist in Sunday's 6-2 loss against the St. Louis Cardinals. With Albies expected to miss eight weeks, Alvarez will now likely draw a ton of starts at second base moving forward. That makes him a potential add in 12-plus team leagues right now.

Atlanta isn't going to call up the 21-year-old infielder to sit on the bench, especially given the way he was hitting at Triple-A recently. Alvarez is already in the lineup on Monday, batting second and playing second base. As a result, he has a chance to produce solid fantasy numbers in the second half.
