5 months agoFor the Brickyard 400 on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Ty Gibbs will start sixth. This is the first time that Gibbs will make a start at Indianapolis on the oval track in any of NASCAR's three national series. In 21 races so far this season, Gibbs has nine top-10 finishes and sits 11th in the regular season standings. In practice, Gibbs ranked 11th in 10 consecutive lap averages and 16th in overall lap averages. Based on his practice speeds, inexperience at Indianapolis, and low Place Differential upside, it is difficult to recommend Gibbs for DFS, considering how there are cheaper alternatives available with more upside this week.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
