The Summer League allows players to shine and up their stock within their team rosters. It won't be surprising to see some players showcase their talent while other players attempt to put themselves on the map.

This article will highlight some DraftKings NBA Summer League daily fantasy options to consider for the five-game main slate that tips off at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Carlton Carrington, PG – WAS ($7,900)

Carlton Carrington is my favorite pay-up guard spot tonight as he faces off versus the Sacramento Kings. Carrington has put together three straight performances of 30 or more DK points. To kick off the Summer League, he recorded 46.8 DK points versus Atlanta and followed that performance up with 31 DK points versus Houston and 35.5 DK points versus Portland. The Washington guard is averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 42.3% from the three-point line. You can easily build around Carrington with the other guards on this slate who come in around the $5,000 price tag and still have upside in your lineups.

Jaylen Martin, PG/SG - BKN ($4,700)

Jaylen Martin provides salary relief tonight, coming in at $4,700. He has yet to exceed 25 minutes in the first three games but he has been able to make the most of his opportunities. Martin brings double-double upside and he has flirted with it in two games. He recorded 12 points and eight rebounds in the first Summer League game versus Indiana and recorded nine points and seven rebounds in his third game against the New York Knicks. What also makes him a steal at $4,700 is that he contributes on the defensive end, recording three blocks in two of the three games.

RayJ Dennis, PG/SG - LAC ($5,200)

RayJ Dennis is another guard that can help make your lineup work. Through three games, Dennis is averaging 8.0 points, 5.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. He is shooting 6-of-12 from the three-point line also. Similar to other young players, he has yet to eclipse the 25-minute mark for playing time but is averaging 1.18 DK points per minute. He also has been capable of filling his stat sheet with minimum turnovers, providing a nice ceiling at his price mark of $5,200.

Also Consider: Isaiah Collier ($5,800), Isaac Jones ($5,000), Anthony Black ($8,400)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Cam Whitmore, SF - HOU ($9,800)

Cam Whitmore should be at the top of your player list whenever he is featured on a slate. He may have had a horrible game against Detroit where he only recorded 18.3 DK points, but he has been a monster for Houston. Whitmore recorded 47.0 and 52.5 DK points in his first two games, barely missing out on back-to-back double-double games. He'll most likely be everyone's top option tonight and will bring some ownership with him but that is ownership you should be willing to take. Whitmore and Reed Sheppard seem to make a great pairing and going both Houston players is certainly a good route that you can take.

Alexandre Sarr, C - WAS ($8,700)

Tonight's big question will be how many people are fading Alexandre Sarr after a goose-egg shooting performance. Sarr struggled versus Portland and only recorded nine rebounds and three assists while shooting 0-of-15 from the field and 0-of-7 from the three-point line. While the sample is very small, there are questions about Sarr that still need to be answered. He can get the job done like he did in his first game against Atlanta. He recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, and four assists with four blocks and one steal, recording 36.8 DK points. If his ownership is coming in low, I'll be upping my exposure for the Washington Wizards big man.

Moussa Diabate, PF/C - LAC ($5,700)

Moussa Diabate is another interesting play that can be plugged into the power forward or center position of lineups. He was able to dominate Milwaukee, recording 21 points, eight rebounds, and three assists for 37.5 DK Points in 27 minutes. Diabate has been scattered when it comes to taking shots throughout the three games as he had only six attempts in Game 1, one in Game 2, and 13 in Game 3. If he feels confident in his shot tonight and with the way he has been grabbing boards, a double-double bonus will be in reach for him. On top of that, the Clippers have momentum on their side, remaining unbeaten with a 3-0 record.

Also Consider: Jay Huff ($5,500), Leonard Miller ($6,500), Maxwell Lewis ($5,700)
