4 months agoNicolai Højgaard finished T39 at last week's Genesis Scottish Open, marking his fourth consecutive made cut. Throughout the season, Højgaard has faced challenges with consistency. He notably experienced a stretch where he missed the cut in two consecutive events but then followed that up with a T16 finish at the Masters Tournament, only to miss the cut in back-to-back tournaments. Højgaard is preparing for his fourth appearance at The Open Championship, being held at Royal Troon. Højgaard's past performances at The Open Championship include finishes of T23 in 2023, a T53 finish in 2022, and a missed cut in 2018. An interesting point to note is that Højgaard ranks in the 96th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway over the past 12 months. Considering Højgaard's recent form and mixed success at The Open Championship, he could go overlooked and be a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week but comes with some risk.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
