Pete Alonso Prefers Not To Be Traded
5 months agoOn Monday, New York Mets All-Star first baseman Pete Alonso said he would prefer to remain with the team despite trade rumors surrounding him. Alonso said "he loves the organization" and wants to help the team reach the postseason. He entered the break hitting .240/.319/.454 with 19 homers, 51 RBI, and 53 runs scored with a .772 OPS. After a slow start, Alonso has hit .270/.345/.460 with five homers, 19 RBI, and 15 runs scored over the past month. Fantasy managers will continue to hang onto Alonso, regardless of whether he remains with the Mets or has a new address after the trade deadline.
