Chase Dollander Will Open Second Half In Double-A
4 months agoAfter a dominate performance for High-A Spokane in the first half of the season, the Colorado Rockies will promote pitching Chase Dollander to Double-A Hartford when the second half of the season begins. The former Tennessee Volunteer was selected with the ninth overall pick of the first-round in the 2023 MLB Draft and hasn't missed a beat in his debut season with Spokane. In 14 starts, MLB Pipeline's No. 36 prospect has produced a 2.83 ERA to go along with 111 strikeout and 28 walks in 70 innings. It is a much-deserved promotion for the 22-year-old that could quickly rise through the Rockies system. Although he will play half his games at Coors Field, managers in dynasty leagues should still consider rostering Colorado's future ace.
