4 months agoThe Atlanta Braves drafted Saguaro High School (Ariz.) pitcher Cam Caminiti with the 24th pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. The 17-year-old is the youngest prospect in this year's draft class and already touches 98 on the radar gun with four pitches that project to be legitimate major-league pitches. At such a young age, his secondary stuff is a bit raw but there is room to grow with the off-speed stuff. The left-hander may have found the perfect landing spot with the Braves ability to develop starting pitching.
