Cody Brundage Fight Ends Early Due To Illegal Shots
9 months agoCody Brundage (10-6, 1 NC) had his UFC Denver fight against Abdul Razak Alhassan end in a No Contest in just 37 seconds due to accidental blows to the back of the head. Right away, Brundage shot in for a takedown, and Alhassan landed a big shot that hurt him. As Brundage tried to scramble and recover, Alhassan landed several elbows to the back of Brundage's head and the ref stopped the fight. After Brundage couldn't continue, the fight was ruled a No Contest. Whether or not Brundage will get another fight in the UFC is to be seen.

Cody Brundage Looks To Get Back In The Win Column

Brundage is coming off a no-contest against Abdul Razak Alhassan, which ended early due to illegal strikes landed to the back of Brundage's head. Prior to that bout, Brundage was defeated by Bo Nickal via second-round rear-naked choke. DraftKings sees Brundage as a slight underdog with a salary of $7,700. Throughout his UFC career of 10 bouts, he averages 50.8 fantasy points per contest.

Cody Brundage An Underdog Again At UFC Denver
9 months agoCody Brundage (10-6) is set to open the UFC Denver main card against knockout artist Abdul Razak Alhassan. Brundage is coming off a submission loss to Bo Nickal at UFC 300 back in April. Brundage enters this fight as the underdog, as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,700. In the UFC, Brundage is 4-5 with three wins by stoppage while he's been knocked out just once in the UFC. The American is fighting out of Colorado, so he'll have the fans behind him as he'll look to use his wrestling to control the fight and finish Alhassan.

Cody Brundage Gets Submitted At UFC 300
12 months agoCody Brundage suffered a second-round submission loss to Bo Nickal to open the UFC 300 card on Saturday. Brundage was controlled for nearly the entire first round, but in the second round, he came out swinging trying to get a KO. However, Brundage was taken down again, and then gave up his back and was submitted by a rear-naked choke. With the loss, Brundage fell to 4-5 in the UFC and had his two-fight winning streak snapped.

Brundage is on a two-fight winning streak and coming off an upset KO win over Zach Reese in December. Brundage is the biggest underdog on the card as DraftKings has him at a salary of $6,700. In the UFC, Brundage is 4-4 with three wins by stoppage, while he's been finished twice. If Brundage can beat Nickal it will be one of the biggest upsets in UFC history.
