9 months agoCody Brundage (10-6, 1 NC) had his UFC Denver fight against Abdul Razak Alhassan end in a No Contest in just 37 seconds due to accidental blows to the back of the head. Right away, Brundage shot in for a takedown, and Alhassan landed a big shot that hurt him. As Brundage tried to scramble and recover, Alhassan landed several elbows to the back of Brundage's head and the ref stopped the fight. After Brundage couldn't continue, the fight was ruled a No Contest. Whether or not Brundage will get another fight in the UFC is to be seen.--Cole Shelton

9 months agoCody Brundage (10-6) is set to open the UFC Denver main card against knockout artist Abdul Razak Alhassan. Brundage is coming off a submission loss to Bo Nickal at UFC 300 back in April. Brundage enters this fight as the underdog, as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,700. In the UFC, Brundage is 4-5 with three wins by stoppage while he's been knocked out just once in the UFC. The American is fighting out of Colorado, so he'll have the fans behind him as he'll look to use his wrestling to control the fight and finish Alhassan. --Cole Shelton
