Rece Hinds Stays Red Hot With Two More Home Runs
4 months agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Rece Hinds continued the torrid start to his MLB career, going 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI in Saturday's 10-6 win over the Marlins. The 23-year-old also scored twice and was hit by a pitch. It has been a historic start to Hinds' career, now with 11 hits over his first six games in the majors, nine of which have gone for extra bases, including three doubles, a triple, and five home runs. He's also chipped in a pair of stolen bases. The former second-round draft pick will carry a .500-5-11-7-2 line into Sunday's matchup where the Reds will face lefty Trevor Rogers who is 1-9 with a 4.82 ERA and 1.59 WHIP.
