Brendan Rodgers With A Solo Blast Friday
4 months agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Mets. It was his sixth of the season and the 27-year-old also walked once and scored twice in the contest. The former third-overall draft pick came into the game hitless in his last 17 at-bats, but had his average up to .285 prior to the slump, now hitting .269 on the season. As usual, Rodgers has missed time due to injury this season, and now has a .269-6-29-33-1 line on the year with a .307 wOBA and 83 wRC+. Hopefully he can put together a more productive second half, but for now, fantasy managers can probably leave him on the waiver wire in most leagues.
