Jace Jung Goes Deep Twice On Friday
4 months agoDetroit Tigers second base/ third base prospect Jace Jung went 2-for-5 with two round-trippers and three RBI on Friday evening. These were his first two hits since rejoining Triple-A Toledo on July 9. Jung was sidelined for a couple of weeks due to a wrist injury but is already rounding back into form. In his first 67 games at the Triple-A level this season, Jung has posted a strong .264/.387/.508 line with 13 long balls, 44 RBI, one stolen base, and a 50:69 BB:K ratio. The Texas Tech product is considered the 41st-best prospect in baseball on MLB.com and remains on track to make his major league debut in the second half of the season.
