BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: August
ANALYSIS: Houston Astros outfield prospect Pedro Leon is on pace to smash his previous career-highs at Triple-A and is nearing his major league debut.
Through 82 games at Triple-A Sugar Land, the 26-year-old has posted an excellent .303/.382/.520 slash line with 16 home runs, 69 RBI, and 21 stolen bases.

Leon has spent the past three seasons at the Triple-A level but has taken a significant step forward this season. Last summer in 128 games the outfielder posted a much lower .244/.343/.435 line with 21 home runs, 72 RBI, and 21 stolen bases.
The year prior, Leon held an even lower .228/.365/.431 line with only 17 round-trippers.
While Leon has remained at Triple-A much longer than other prospects, he has continued to improve every season which is a great sign going forward. He is currently riding a 10-game hitting streak since June 27 and has a strong chance of seeing time in the major leagues in the second half of the summer due to the struggles that Chas McCormick has had in left field this season.
