Orioles Don't Intend To Trade Any Top Prospects
4 months agoSeason-ending injuries to starting pitchers Kyle Bradish (elbow) and John Means (elbow) have the Baltimore Orioles in the starting pitching market at this year's trade deadline, but they don't intend to trade any of their top prospects. They didn't give up any high-end prospects to acquire Corbin Burnes from the Milwaukee Brewers earlier this year, so they don't see a reason to do so now. The quality and depth of their farm system are as good as any team in baseball, and they have enough talent to land any available starter they want without giving up their top three or four prospects. The Orioles have been linked in trade talks so far with the Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Colorado Rockies on their available starting pitchers.
