9 months agoJean Silva (13-2) is set to move up to lightweight to take on Drew Dober on short notice at UFC Denver. Silva is coming off a second-round knockout win over Charles Jourdain at UFC 303 which was two weeks ago, and the last UFC card. However, he missed weight in that fight which is why he's moving up to lightweight. Silva enters the fight as a slight underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,000. In the UFC, Silva is 2-0 with both of his wins by knockout, but this is a major step up in competition. If Silva gets his hand raised at UFC Denver he could get a ranked opponent next.--Cole Shelton

1 month agoJean Silva (14-2) is scheduled to take on Melsik Baghdasaryan on the main card of UFC Seattle on Saturday. Silva made his Octagon debut last January and has gone 3-0 since then. In his last bout, Silva extended his winning streak to 11 by defeating Drew Dober via TKO after the cage-side doctor decided to stop the fight due to a cut. DraftKings sees Silva as the favorite with a salary of $9,500. Throughout his UFC career of three bouts, he averages 95.2 fantasy points per contest.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

9 months agoJean Silva (14-2) scored a third-round stoppage win on the main card of UFC Denver against Drew Dober. Silva was fighting on the second straight UFC card as he moved up to lightweight and took on Dober who has been a ranked lightweight. The Brazilian was landing the heavier shots and had Dober hurt multiple times. The fight ended up being stopped in the third round due to a nasty cut above Dober's eye. Silva is now 3-0 in the UFC and has won all three of his UFC wins by stoppage. He could get a ranked opponent at either featherweight or lightweight next time out.--Cole Shelton
