Bryan Woo To Return This Weekend Against Angels
5 months agoSeattle Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo (hamstring) will be activated from the 15-day injured list this weekend to face the division-rival Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, according to manager Scott Servais. The skipper didn't specify which of the four games that Woo will start, though. Woo's rotation turn comes up on Friday, but the Mariners could re-slot after their off day on Monday. Even though Woo only threw 2 2/3 innings in his only minor-league rehab start last Saturday, the 24-year-old has been excellent when healthy in 2024 and should be considered a must-start this weekend against one of the worst offenses in baseball in the Angels. Woo has been bit by the injury bug multiple times this year, but otherwise he's been outstanding for fantasy managers, going 3-1 with a 1.77 ERA and 0.69 WHIP with 28 K's and only three walks in 40 2/3 innings over eight starts in his second year in the big leagues.
