Coby Mayo Continues To Crush Triple-A Pitching
5 months agoBaltimore Orioles third base prospect Coby Mayo has had one of the best seasons for a minor league player and been red-hot over his last 10 games for Triple-A Norfolk. The No. 15 prospect per MLB Pipeline, Mayo, has hit .327 with five home runs and 17 RBI over his last 10 games. The third baseman has been on fire for most of the season and had he been in another organization, he most likely would be at the big-league level by now. In Triple-A, Mayo has hit .301 with 18 homers and 54 RBI in 59 games. Not only is Mayo one of the top prospects in the game, but he is also ready to get a chance at the next level. The Orioles have a big decision to make on if they should keep Mayo or deal him at the upcoming deadline, but from a fantasy perspective, it would be best if he was dealt and given the opportunity to show what he has got against big-league pitching. Regardless, Mayo should be rostered in all dynasty leagues and is an intriguing stash in re-draft leagues, depending how his situation plays out.
