Luis Gil Gets Back On Track Sunday
5 months agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Gil had a nice bounce back start on Sunday, tossing 6 ⅔ innings of one-run ball in a tough-luck 3-0 loss to the Boston Red Sox. Gil allowed just four hits and didn't walk a batter while striking out nine. Unfortunately, one of the hits was a Rafael Devers home run in the seventh inning that ended up being the game-winning run. Still, this was a very encouraging start for Gil, who didn't walk a batter for the first time this season and appeared to get back on track after three rough outings. Fantasy managers should be encouraged, but should also be looking to see if they can sell high on the young righty, especially considering the likely scenario of his innings being limited soon.
