Should You Target Austin Cindric In DFS This Weekend?
5 months agoAustin Cindric has qualified 21st for Sunday's Grant Park 165 street race from Chicago, IL. Given how inconsistent he has been at the Cup level, Cindric is not typically a driver that we look to target most weeks when building our DFS lineups. A great example of how inconsistent he can be is seen in the fact that earlier this season he went 12 straight weeks without cracking the top-10, won the race at St. Louis, and has yet to finish the top-10 since. Because of his lack of consistency, the 25-year-old is always a risky play, one that is difficult to play with any confidence. However, this weekend is different. Considering he is well known for his road course ability, which is a similar style track to the one he will race on this Sunday, and that he finished sixth in last year's street race, this is a week you will want to target the Team Penske star. While he should not be looked at as a core play, his modest DraftKings salary ($7,500), combined with a starting position that offers place differential upside, make him a driver you will want to have some exposure to in DFS this weekend.
