BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: Late August/September
ANALYSIS: The next prospect to make a Paul Skenes-type impact upon his arrival in the major leagues is Detroit Tigers youngster Jackson Jobe.
Jobe is just 21 but is already on the fast track to the major leagues as he's been dominant at each stop in the minors. He's the Tigers' number two prospect and is rated as high as number 11 overall in all of MLB.
There was some hope that Jobe would work his way up to the Triple-A level this season and make a late-season debut for the Tigers, but Jobe missed most of May and half of June with a hamstring injury.
Jackson Jobe impressed in his return to the Double-A level.

After a short rehab stint back at Single-A, Jobe rejoined the Erie Seawolves this week and flashed his elite stuff once again, whiffing eight hitters over five innings. He now has 32 strikeouts across 21 innings at Double-A Erie with an ERA of 2.08 and WHIP of 0.97.
It's going to be hard for Jobe to break through into the majors this season and Detroit has no real reason to rush him either. They likely want to see him perform well at Triple-A before finally bringing him up, but it's also possible that he could skip Triple-A altogether and be a late-season promotion.
Either way, his fantasy impact should be fairly limited this season. In redraft formats, he can be stashed in the deepest of leagues only. In regular formats, you can ignore Jobe for now but be on the lookout for any news about his promotion (and we will have you covered there!)
