5 months agoWashington Nationals left fielder James Wood will bat fifth in Thursday's series finale against the Mets. After hitting in the sixth spot in his first two big league games, the 21-year-old was moved up to third in the lineup on Wednesday. The No. 2 prospect in all of baseball per MLB.com's latest prospect list collected a hit in his first major league at-bat on Monday and is 3-for-10 with a 3:1 BB:K so far through three games.
