Jacob Wilson Picks Up Where He Left Off
5 months agoOakland Athletics shortstop prospect Jacob Wilson has hit safely in seven consecutive games since finishing up a rehab assignment, going 15-for-31 (.484) during the seven game stretch, including three home runs in his last four games. Known to have superb bat-to-ball skills, the 22-year-old has put it on full display this season, slashing .459/.494/.713 across two levels. In 13 games at Triple-A, the former first-round draft pick has even walked more than he's struck out (5:3). Despite being a 2023 draft pick, it would not be a surprise to see him get a taste of the majors by season's end, and he should be rostered in all dynasty leagues.
