Harrison Bader Out On Wednesday
5 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Harrison Bader (head) is not in the team's starting lineup on Wednesday against the hosting Washington Nationals. Bader crashed into the outfield wall early in Tuesday's contest in D.C. and was removed from the game. The good news is that the 30-year-old passed concussion tests and should be considered day-to-day for now. Check back to see if he's available to return to the starting lineup on the Fourth of July on Thursday against the Nationals. With Bader out on Wednesday, Tyrone Taylor will patrol center field and will hit seventh in the batting order against Nationals left-hander Mitchell Parker. The 30-year-old former second-round pick by the Brewers in 2012 has minimal DFS upside given his .223/.270/.361 slash line on the year with four homers, 21 RBI and six stolen bases in 166 at-bats for the Mets in 2024.
