5 months agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Manuel Margot went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's victory versus the division rival Detroit Tigers. Margot tied the game at three in the bottom of the fifth inning when he sent a ball 406 feet off Tarik Skubal to tie the game at that point. The veteran has been on a bit of a heater lately with nine hits over his last 29 at-bats, including two homers and six RBI. For the season, the veteran is hitting .244 with three longballs and 19 RBI. Margot is a fine addition for those in deeper daily leagues that are seeking a hot bat at the moment, but the veteran has shown throughout his career that in terms of fantasy, he is best served on the waiver wire.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
