Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, A.J. Brown - 2024 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Outlooks

Justin Jefferson - Fantasy Football Rankings, DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Injury News

What can you expect from Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and A.J. Brown in fantasy football this year? Craig Rondinone analyzes their outlooks for 2024.

The NFL is loaded with as many talented wide receivers as Buffalo Wild Wings is with special sauces.

Three of the top-10 wide receivers in fantasy football entering the 2024 NFL season are Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson, Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Philadelphia’s A.J. Brown. They have been consistent performers over the past few years and should be among the best at their position again this season. Fantasy managers should have all three near the top of their WR rankings on their draft cheat sheets.

So, what are the fantasy outlooks for this trio of Pro Bowl pass-catchers for the upcoming season? Here are my outlooks!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Justin Jefferson, WR - Minnesota Vikings - Fantasy Football Outlook

Jefferson should be Minnesota’s top target on offense and should be a top-4 fantasy WR again this season. As long as he can avoid injury after he missed seven games in 2023 due to a hamstring injury, Jefferson is still a surefire bet. The bigger issue for Jefferson is he will not have QB Kirk Cousins as his starting signal-caller in 2024.

Jefferson averaged 100 yards per game in five contests without Cousins last year, so he should be able to overcome not having his longtime battery mate around. The jury is out, however, on who will be Minnesota’s starting quarterback between veteran journeyman Sam Darnold and rookie J.J. McCarthy. If the quarterback play is spotty, Jefferson’s numbers could be affected. That is why he is not the undisputed No. 1 WR in fantasy entering this season like he has been in the past.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR - Detroit Lions - Fantasy Football Outlook

There is no reason to think St. Brown won't duplicate his amazing 2023 numbers (119-1,515-10) in 2024. Jared Goff is still his quarterback after recently signing an extension to stay with the team and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson spurned head- coaching jobs to call the plays in Detroit for another season. Tight end Sam LaPorta, tailback twosome David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, and wideout Jameson Williams are all back, too!

Brown’s fantasy value is higher in PPR leagues because of how he racks up receptions often playing from the slot. St. Brown is Detroit's WR1 and is a WR1 in fantasy leagues. He should be a top-5 WR in PPR as well as in the top seven in standard-scoring leagues. All of the continuity back in Detroit next season is a huge boost for everyone.

A.J. Brown, WR - Philadelphia Eagles - Fantasy Football Outlook

Brown was on his way to a record-breaking season in 2023 after having six straight games with 127 receiving yards or more early in the year. Unfortunately, the wheels came off during the second half of the season. Brown finished with just one 100-yard game and just one touchdown over his final eight outings.

Philadelphia did not add any pass-catchers who are a threat to Brown's sizable target share, bringing in role players like WR Parris Campbell and TE C.J. Uzomah this offseason. The Eagles made a blockbuster signing with RB Saquon Barkley, who will catch a fair share out of the backfield and will help them sustain drives on the ground.

Brown will remain QB Jalen Hurts’ favorite and most dangerous target again and should be primed for his third straight 1,400-yard year after the Eagles brought in Kellen Moore to be their new offensive coordinator. Brown should be one of the top-6 receivers in fantasy again this year.
