Adam Schenk Slumping Ahead Of John Deere Classic
5 months agoAdam Schenk is certainly a threat to contend on any given week, but it hasn't been pretty for the OWGR No. 57 recently. Since posting a T13 finish at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson back in early May, the 32-year-old Purdue alum has played in seven events, resulting in four missed cuts, one withdraw, and addition finishes of T64 and T55. He lost strokes ball-striking in all seven of those starts, and he's lost strokes putting in five-straight events as well. Schenk's course history at TPC Deere Run is volatile as well, as he's posted three top-10 finishes to go along with a missed cut and another withdraw in his last five appearances here. While it's ok to embrace volatility in PGA DFS, it's typically not a wise decision when paired with poor recent form. Fantasy managers should strongly consider keeping Schenk on the bench until he flashes a glimpse of the upside he has displayed over the years.
