Bryse Wilson Tagged For Five Runs In Relief Role
5 months agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Bryse Wilson was tagged by the Colorado Rockies in Monday's 8-7 loss, allowing five runs (all earned) and seven hits over four innings. Wilson replaced opener Rob Zastryzny in the second inning and immediately allowed homers to Charlie Blackmon and Brenton Doyle while striking out three and walking two. He is now 5-3 with a 4.27 ERA and 1.28 WHIP, striking out 62 and walking 28 over 78 innings. Wilson's penchant for allowing dingers has been an issue, as he's allowed 14 homers. Monday's outing marked the fourth time in six outings that Wilson has yielded at least three earned runs, so now is a good time for fantasy managers to bail on him.
