Goga Bitadze Staying In Orlando
5 months agoFree-agent center Goga Bitadze agreed to a three-year, $25 million contract to remain with the Orlando Magic. The 2019 No. 18 overall pick spent over three seasons with the Indiana Pacers before getting traded to Orlando. He hasn't been a consistent contributor with the Magic. However, Bitadze averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in 33 starts during the 2023-24 campaign. He's expected to back up Wendell Carter Jr. in the middle once again this season. But Carter has had issues staying healthy since entering the league, meaning there's an excellent chance Bitadze will see more starts in 2024-25. Of course, that means fantasy managers should keep him on the radar throughout the year.
