5 months agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a double and his 22nd home run of the season in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers. The 29-year-old also walked once, collected two RBI, and scored twice in the contest. Santander is no stranger to the long ball, but he is experiencing a power surge this month, belting 13 of his 22 home runs in June alone. The switch-hitter is having one of his best seasons yet, posting a .233-22-55-46-0 line with a .348 wOBA and 129 wRC+. He's striking out much less than last season (23.2% vs. 18.2%) and currently has a career-high Contact% of 82.4% to go along with a 10.9% Barrel%, which makes his production sustainable (although don't expect 13 home runs per month).--Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller
