BALLER MOVE: Monitor In All Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: Late 2024/Early 2025
ANALYSIS: It remains to be seen if the Chicago Cubs will call up their No. 2 prospect, Owen Caissie, this season. Caissie was drafted in the second round of the 2020 MLB Draft, but he is still just 21 years old. There's no denying, though, that he is one of the most talented prospects in baseball currently.
The outfielder is hitting .277 with eight home runs, 17 doubles, and 45 RBI across 71 games at Triple-A Iowa this season. His solid numbers at the plate come after Caissie totaled 22 HRs, 31 doubles, and 84 RBI in 120 games at Double-A Tennessee in 2023.
Owen Caissie with 2 hits tonight. That's 3-straight multi-hit games for Caissie who is now hitting .278 with an .844 OPS.

If the Cubs continue to drop in the standings and are sellers at the deadline, there's a strong chance that Caissie could be called up in September. Right now, MLB Pipeline's No. 34 overall prospect should just be monitored in all fantasy leagues because there are question marks on whether he will actually make his debut later this season.
