Alejandro Osuna Promoted To Double-A
6 months agoTexas Rangers outfield prospect Alejandro Osuna was promoted to Double-A Frisco on Friday, June 29, according to MiLB Central. Osuna has spent his previous 136 games with High-A Hickory and held an overall .267/.357/.414 slash line with 15 home runs, 74 RBI, 28 stolen bases, and a 66:136 BB:K ratio. Osuna recently hit for the cycle on Wednesday evening in what was his last game at the High-A level. This season, he posted a career-best .272/.339/.486 line with nine home runs which convinced the Rangers he was ready to join the upper levels of the minor leagues. The 21-year-old currently sits outside of the Texas top 30 prospects on MLB Pipeline but could join this list in the second half of the summer if he carries this strong play into Double-A.
