5 months agoKansas City Royals catcher prospect Blake Mitchell was 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Wednesday for Single-A Columbia. The 19-year-old has adapted nicely to Single-A this season with 10 homers and 30 RBI to go with 18 stolen bases. Kansas City's top overall prospect is a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year in Texas for Sinton High School. He has the tools to be a fantasy star at the catcher position but is a long way away from making an impact with the Royals. For now, he is a dynasty league target and a high-priority name to file away and monitor as he progresses through the Royals' farm system.--Brian Buckey - RotoBaller
