5 months agoAlex Noren missed the cut at the U.S. Open two weeks ago, which was his second missed cut in his last three tournaments. He is now getting ready for this week's Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Noren has a good track record at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, finishing tied for ninth in 2023 and tied for fourth in 2021. It's worth noting that at last year's Rocket Mortgage Classic, over 26% of approach shots were taken from 150-200 yards. Over the past 12 months, Noren ranks in the 20th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from this distance while in the fairway.
