Turner Hill Joining Double-A
6 months agoSan Francisco Giants outfield prospect Turner Hill is being promoted to Double-A Richmond, according to Chase Ford of MiLB Central. The 25-year-old began his minor league career last season, where he logged 74 games at the Single-A level and held a solid .287/.374/.370 line with 30 RBI, 27 stolen bases, and a 37:31 BB:K ratio. He was then given a brief taste of Triple-A to finish out the season, where he tallied four hits across a two-game sample size. He opened the 2024 campaign with High-A Eugene, where he once again looked quite comfortable with a .270/.383/.414 slash line, 21 RBI, three home runs, 15 swiped bags, and a 28:21 BB:K ratio. The left-handed bat was then given another small taste of Triple-A before officially being promoted to Double-A. While Hill is not ranked in MLB.com's top 30 Giant prospects, he could join this list later this summer due to how fast he is progressing through the minor leagues.
