McClure Meissner A Volatile Play With Upside At Rocket Mortgage
5 months agoBy most Korn Ferry Tour graduates' standards, McClure Meissner is having a fine rookie season. He has had some success at a few weaker field events but didn't do enough to crack the Aon Swing 5 this season. However, there is still tons of golf to be played in 2024, and with much of the game's top talent taking the week off, Meissner is in a prime spot to gain valuable FedEx Cup points. He's coming off a missed cut at the U.S. Open but had strung together a couple of solid weeks including a season-high T5 finish at the Charles Schwab Challenge, where he ranked ninth in the field in strokes gained tee to green (+1.88). At $8,200 on FanDuel, there is considerable risk here for DFS players, but most of the guys in this range and lower have the same issue.
