5 months agoThe Golden State Warriors guaranteed the 2024-25 salary of forward/center Kevon Looney. There was chatter he could be cut. However, replacing him with someone else wouldn't have made much sense from a financial standpoint. The 28-year-old has been in Golden State since entering the league in 2015. But his production dropped significantly last season after averaging 7.0 points and 9.3 rebounds during the 2022-23 campaign. With that in mind, Looney could see some starts here and there in 2024-25. Yet, he figures to be buried on the depth chart behind Trayce Jackson-Davis, Draymond Green, and Jonathan Kuminga, meaning it will be difficult for him to do anything meaningful for fantasy managers.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
