David Fry Exits Early With Elbow Inflammation
5 months agoCleveland Guardians catcher David Fry (elbow) left Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the third inning with right elbow inflammation. There was concern that Fry was dealing with a head injury after he was struck in the head by a Danny Jansen practice swing in the first inning, but that does not appear to be related. Fry is considered day-to-day for now with more information to come. The 28-year-old has been a surprisingly productive fantasy asset this season as he is slashing .312/.429/.526 with eight home runs, 31 RBI and four stolen bases across 55 games. Hopefully he is able to return sooner rather than later.
