5 months agoMiami Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Sunday morning. Cabrera has been sidelined since May 8 with a right shoulder impingement and appeared to be nearing closer to a return. This transfer to the 60-day IL now makes him ineligible for activation for another two weeks, so there must be a reason the Marlins wanted to slow down his progression. We will see if he makes his scheduled rehab start with Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday. The 26-year-old produced a bloated 7.17 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 31:14 K:BB across his first four starts this season. He can provide some value for fantasy managers due to his high strikeout upside, but he needs to prove he is healthy before being added to rosters.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
